You will probably know Rosemary as the crinkly skinny one from 'This Morning' who routinely inflicts her ultra low fat diet and mild exercise regime on poor members of the public.  Harsh words?

Well, yes and no.

She does look good for her age, but I'm not convinced that by eating only foods below 5g fat per 100g is strictly necessary.  On the other hand, she does advocate exercise, which is better than most 'diets' out there.

This site is less about her eating and exercise plans, and more about changing habits and attitudes.  The site is set out as a 12 week plan, one lesson per week is followed.

Whilst the content is useful, it is diluted and a lot of it just plain simple common sense.  For the price, I expected an interactive online food and exercise diary - the food diary was a pdf file which had to be printed out and filled in by hand. Not too sophisticated - and I don't see the point when you are at a computer to begin with.

I may have opted to have no contact by email (I can't remember) but there was no interaction by email during the 12 weeks.  Some reminders to log into the site might have been useful.

The site is expensive - £39.99 for 12 weeks, but you do get a free spoken word cd and a tape measure.

All in all, I was disappointed by the site.  It does have the 'coffee shop' area which is a chatroom, but as I have mentioned before I am very disillusioned with weight loss chatrooms.  The advice given on them can be counterproductive and occasionally things turn bitchy and cliquey which is not particularly motivating!  Not that I had a particular problem with this one, but as it was sparsely populated it didn't hold much interest for me.

I didn't learn anything new, nor anything I couldn't pick up for free on other sites.  It did pull everything together into one place, but I'd only recommend this to someone who was just starting out on the quest for nutrition and fitness knowledge.
